Worship and Arts Conference, Louisville Seminary, Kentucky

Carol was invited to the conference to create a piece of art in the Chapel and to lead two workshops.

In July 2010, Louisville Seminary and the Office of Theology and Worship of the Presbyterian Church (USA) sponsored a four-day conference on the theme ‘Danger: Art at Work’. Offered to pastors, worship leaders, liturgical artists, church members and seminarians, it sought to explore ‘the dangerous work of worship’ and to provide inspiration for creative approaches to worship planning and leadership. Carol created a piece of art in the Chapel to reflect the text ‘A New Heaven and a New Earth’ to begin the conference and also led two workshops on the visual arts and worship.
