Much of the work undertaken at Art and Worship and other Soul Marks workshops has been tried and tested at Carol's home church, St James Episcopal Church, Edinburgh.

From autumn 2007 Carol has been employed part-time by the church to continue to encourage, enable and develop the pursuit of creative worship through the visual arts.
