Acts of Remembrance

Spaces created for 'Acts of Remembrance' at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh.

Paper boats sailed on a sea of remembrance, created for memorials services in 2003 and 2005.

For several years Carol has worked with Carrie Upton, Chaplin at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, creating, writing and developing liturgies for ‘Acts of Remembrance’.

The services are attended by children and adults of all ages, and include the making of a space as a way of remembering.
