Book as a Memoir, Gift and Journey

Ideal for:  Health and social care professionals interested in developing their ability to enhance patients’ personal reflection. 

The benefit of dialogue and storytelling is well established within palliative care.  This workshop will explore the making of a range of simple handmade books, the creative process of which will enhance the process of reflection for patients, encouraging them to produce their own memory book or a personal journal. Course participants will be encouraged to explore the creative possibilities through conversation and hands on making. No previous experience of art or book making is required!
